The position requires 3+ years of Paralegal experience, and an ABA approved Certification or BA/BS and otherwise meet the ABA requirements. Please have at least a year or two in mid to large law firm environment working in the area of Litigation or Corporate/Transactional Law. The successful candidate is detail oriented, has excellent verbal communication skills as well as, excellent writing skills. Responsibilities will include drafting documents, ensuring compliance,analyzing and presenting data, research, general administration duties and preparing presentations. Our client, a prestigious San Francisco law firm is looking for a very experienced litigation secretary( 5 years plus) who is proficient in WORD, OUTLOOK and other essential software programs (i.e.,Legal Solutions Plus, Carpe Diem, Elite etc.)Please have in depth knowledge of court structure, court rules and experience in e filings. Successful candidate will be pro active multi tasker with excellent written and oral communication skills. This position is for two partners in the area of Securities Litigation and White Collar Defense, including class action work.
